[It's snowing.

That's right, it's snowing. The ground is covered in a nice thick layer of snow. More importantly, there's a nice and neat series of tables with scarves, mittens, ear muffs, and sleds leaning against it. (A few of the tables even serve hot chocolate that inexplicably hasn't gone cold, for those who need to warm up.)

It's the perfect weather for snow activities since the snow isn't too heavy... You know, except for the occasional Cryogonal that falls from the sky. There seem to be quite a few of those.

But don't let that stop you from some of the classics- snow angels, sledding, snowball fights... Tis the season and all.]

He's not letting her put the glove on his hand, but it gets on there thanks to her persistence. Euck.]

Silver stands up (falling back was not part of this plan), and his Aerodactyl reproachfully stands in the snow beside him. Heh.]

She's full of passion and she's getting pretty strong. But we're taking a break from training to relax in the snow!

[It really wouldn't be worth his time to battle. Aerodactyl gets a restful return to its Pokéball, and Silver pulls off the mitten she gave him. It immediately finds its rightful place on the ground in front of him, and he turns away from her.]

And just when I thought you couldn't get any weaker... You're not even worth my time anymore.

[She'll pluck up her mitten, shaking off the snow, and stares at the ground.

She is noticeably quiet for longer than she should be, then she slips on the mitten and wiggles her fingers beneath it. Still kind of warm from Silver, heehee.]

You always say that. [Fondly! And kind of quiet, like she's got something on her mind, but she moves on. Like always.] Magikarp are said to the be the weakest Pokémon by pretty much anyone's standards, but they do their best to get strong enough to climb waterfalls and swim against the current. I think it's admirable, don't you? And they even get rewarded for their hard work!

The majority of them never make it past the rocks. [It's the cold hard truth.] They overexert themselves and die. Only the strongest manage to get past the falls and survive.

Which is what Fishy and I are training for! When she feels confident enough, we're gonna go find a waterfall and swim up it together.

[As if agreeing with the determination, Fishy flops hard against Sprouty and wakes him up enough to get him to notice the Cryogonal and toss some of their hot cocoa at them.

That's right, go away.

Dumb snow. Eck. Brrr.]
