[It's snowing.

That's right, it's snowing. The ground is covered in a nice thick layer of snow. More importantly, there's a nice and neat series of tables with scarves, mittens, ear muffs, and sleds leaning against it. (A few of the tables even serve hot chocolate that inexplicably hasn't gone cold, for those who need to warm up.)

It's the perfect weather for snow activities since the snow isn't too heavy... You know, except for the occasional Cryogonal that falls from the sky. There seem to be quite a few of those.

But don't let that stop you from some of the classics- snow angels, sledding, snowball fights... Tis the season and all.]

[Snow and steep slopes can only mean one thing: extreme sled races against yours truly! See, in addition to being smart and good-looking, Green is also pretty talented at outdoor sports, and making losers feel bad in the middle of snowfall happens to be one of his favorite past times. Race against him if you dare!]

[ Casually sips her hot chocolate while watching Green doing whatever he does from a bench. It's smart to observe your opponent's strategy and moves first, Blue has learnt. ]

[As a flying-type, Yveltal is not particularly fond of snow and ice, but puts up with it anyway because sometimes it's difficult to avoid.

So here stands one of Kalos's mighty legendaries, hunched over on all fours the only way it can stand up, with several smaller Pokémon taking shelter from the snow beneath its broad wings and tail.]

[Ethan's definitely sure that there isn't snow until the top of Mt. Silver. The scenery is definitely different enough as well.

But hey, there's free hot chocolate, and the hot chocolate is delicious. So that's something. He, his two Pichu (one has a strange notched ear; the other has odd coloration,) and some new bird Pokémon he doesn't recognize are all huddling together and having tastes of his hot chocolate in peace.

(He's prime snowball bait.)]

[Ethan did not come up this hill for the express purpose of racing Green.

Ethan's not even sure if he wants to make it down said hill once he reaches the top of it. That's pretty steep and full of obstacles...

-Oh. Hey, it's Green! Uh.] You first.

Huh? [Who's invaded his snowy kingdom? If it's Red he swears he's gonna- oh thank god it's just this chatty kid.]

[ She does! It has been a while since she has beaten Green in anything. Blue misses the satisfying, gleeful feeling she had while watching the hope drained from his face when she stomped everything he had-

She's feeling pretty lazy to stand up and approach Green, but... winter sport...! It takes her about 5 minutes before she finally approaches Green, but otherwise doesn't actually say anything. ]

[There is someone in his kingly space and that someone better hope their name isn't Red.

And thankfully it isn't! Girls are always welcome on Green's hill.] You just sitting back and watching?

[Ethan doesn't understand the concept of fear when it comes to pokemon, no matter how huge or threatening-looking they might be! Besides, all the other pokemon like it, so it must be okay, right?

Anyway, here's a trainer crawling up the hill to plop under Yveltal's broad wings with the rest of the pokemon. He's accompanied by a marill and, slightly further away, a furret who is busy squirming and nosing through the snow.]

Whew, thanks! I thought for sure I'd get hit by a falling pokemon before I got here.

[At ten years old and a resident of P̴̨͉̺͞à͕ͅl͚͍̦͖͔͟͡l̸̬̩͇͎͕̩ę̰̟̻̖̦̟͟ṯ͚̤̝̪͓̕͞ ̮̘͠Ţ̯̦̱͔ò̠͕̱̜̜͍̮͉͡ẁ̥͔̥̙͈͜͜ͅn͉͖̖̮͜, Blue's very rarely seen snow. Or so much of it in one place -- something tells her she's not as unfamiliar with it as she thinks......

But thinking's for grumps, and Blue's excitedly flopping around in the snow. She's mitten-less, scarf-less, and ear muff-less -- she was way too excited to notice any of that, and she can't possibly be cold when she's having so, so much fun!

Her Bulbasaur's enjoying it a lot less though, somewhat predictably.]

[ Crouches down near a sled, then looks up to Green, shaking her head. ]

Observing.

[ And also wondering what pokemon she should use if she does join Green. The ones she's with right now is... Jigglypuff. And three pink baby pokemon. Whoops. But she wants to sled race!! ]

BULLSEYE! I declare a snowball war!

[ The suspect is jumping happily behind her snow fort, her Castform hovering around chirping excitedly. ]

[There was that girl's wimpy friend -- and with three weak looking Pokémon to boot. Easy targets, total weaklings, and thus someone he shouldn't even consider talking to much less messing with.

On the other hand, it would be good to get his Aerodactyl some hands on battling experience (as his beast's vicious jaws were apparently allergic to attacking wild Pokémon; how spineless).

So, yeah. He'll saunter over.]

Cold? [~Not as cold as your attitude, Silver~] Hmph. Only someone as weak as a friend of that girl's would need to huddle up with their Pokémon for warmth.

Yeah. This hill doesn't look as big from down below. [Only a little better than Red. Or something. But hey, he gets to hang out with the strongest gym leader he's ever battled. That's just cool.]

[...Oh c'mon Silver, weren't we over this? A friend of that girl's? What's that supposed to mean? ...Well, whatever. Roll with it.]

I guess so. [Whatever you say, buddy.] The hot chocolate's delicious. You should try some.

[Not until he loses to that dragon master, bro. Who he hasn't met yet. Let's not think about future events okay. If the sneer wasn't clear enough on his face, his tone is practically dripping in it.]

[So obviously he doesn't need any hot chocolate.]

Well, Ethan can deal with it. Scarf? Check. Mittens? Check? Ear muffs? They're Pichu-themed! Ferafera's relaxing in it; apparently being a giant coldblooded lizard doesn't ruin his good fun! Being a cold-blooded jerk doesn't ruin Ethan's fun either.

He's making snowmen. Some look suspiciously like certain people (Gym Leaders, Champions (forgotten or met), Lyra...) and he's putting the finishing touches on one that looks like his buddy Silver.

That is, he's giving him a goofy grin and a face that just screams NEEERRRD.]

Good. You won't get sick.

[He takes a quick sip of his hot chocolate before standing up. ...He's a little taller than when he last saw him. Huh. Well, it has been a while...]

[Oh, yeah, sure. Snow's pretty cool. It snowed every so often in Johto (at least when it got really cold, and usually at the end of winter), so she's not too surprised about it.

The hot chocolate, though. Armed with Torchic-themed winter wear (despite her choice in starters!), she's greedily downing the stuff. It's just so good! Even her mom's not as good as this!

Good job, Island, you've won yourself a fan.]

Just like Lyra. [Grumble grumble. What a stupid applehead.] You should worry about yourself.
