[It's snowing.

That's right, it's snowing. The ground is covered in a nice thick layer of snow. More importantly, there's a nice and neat series of tables with scarves, mittens, ear muffs, and sleds leaning against it. (A few of the tables even serve hot chocolate that inexplicably hasn't gone cold, for those who need to warm up.)

It's the perfect weather for snow activities since the snow isn't too heavy... You know, except for the occasional Cryogonal that falls from the sky. There seem to be quite a few of those.

But don't let that stop you from some of the classics- snow angels, sledding, snowball fights... Tis the season and all.]

This place just gave you a free Pokémon, right? [Literally THE ONLY GOOD THING about this place is that it'd given him an easy choice. He'd most definitely rather be back to ruining Team Rocket's plans in Johto and becoming the Champion, though.] I bet it's wasted on someone like you.

[ Brendan's going to avoid commenting on the winter wear. Not because he think it looks cute or anything(!!), but because he's wearing little Torkoal-shaped mittens himself and thus has no room to talk.

[Well, that makes her pause. May stares at her dwindling hot chocolate, pitifully still steaming despite the fact it's pretty much near the bottom her of cup. If there's none left, then she can't keep drinking it...

I just haven't had it in a while. Hoenn's so hot, so having hot chocolate would be kinda weird. [A mournful sip; it's definitely her last cup.

Did you notice the really big snowflakes? I'm pretty sure they're Pokémon, but I've never seen them before. [GET ON IT, PROFESSOR'S SON]

[Thank goodness she's got that scarf around her face. Playing with some of her snow-covered hair with her free hand, too. Nate always got her fidgeting. Dumb boy.]

She's honestly barely taking note of the surrounding Pokémon. If she seems hesitant it's because she is - she's never been one to hide her feelings, even if she'd rather let people not worry about her, but it's just hard to now - and the girl'll continue to sit there. Trying to be her more usual perky self, but...]

What... What makes you say that, Silver? We're just playing. And Sprouty'd whip me out of here if he thought it was trouble.

[He doesn't look half as tired as the other one did, and that sneer is very much familiar. But Lyra's still unusually wary as she remembers his words - unremarkable, weak-minded, predictable.]
