But, like everyone that came to the island, this young red-head got his own choice of three Pokémon! And he picked one, very easily he picked one. A Nidoran♂!]

this little douche ain't too friendly to silvers or silver lookalikes, and when he sees this cute and disgusting display he is all too eager to stomp on it.

[Oh, wow. Of all the things Ariana expected from this bizarre place, finding her own son wandering around was not one of them. When was the last time she'd even thought about him? Two weeks? Three weeks?

She runs over at once, checking perfunctorily to make sure the kid's all right with his new pokémon. Back home, at least, Silver was supposed to be with Giovanni. But maybe things are different here.

Silver, listen to me, this is important. Is your father here with you? [Her voice is almost painfully hopeful.]

[She'll absently pat him on the head for a moment, looking distracted. If Silver doesn't know where Giovanni is, that means he's probably not here. What is she supposed to do now? Making the important decisions was always his job. Or Archer's.]

I still don't know very much about this place, only what I was told when I arrived. From what it sounds like, we're stuck on this island until we can find someone who knows a way back...do you think any of the other admins might be here, if we looked around for them? They'll know what to do.

That's correct... when foraging about, a Nidoran male will rely on its sense of hearing above all of its other senses.
