At everyone's feet is a small note. It gives no description of their location or explanation, of course; it only says one simple thing.

Please choose one.

The note comes along with three Pokéballs with different "starter" Pokémon in them- the three Pokémon can be anything, from a Froakie, Charmander, and Treecko to a Rattata, Patrat, and Bidoof if you're particularly unlucky- and everything in between. If it's not a legendary Pokémon, it's fair game.

Of course, you can only pick one! Trying to go for a second will leave you thinking that you better not get too greedy. If you're one of those types that wouldn't care either way, the other two Pokéballs will simply disappear.

You've, ah, grown quite a lot. [Well gee you wonder you last saw the kid when he was like eight.]

Got it. [Let's... Head into the forest! Yeah!]

[The woods! Woods are a good place to start. Campfire, some leaves for a pillow, the works.]

[And a dinky little blanket. Silver sets it down for a moment and goes off with Weavile to... hunt down Pidgey eggs.

He returns with about six of them and some berries. Dinner!]

[Giovanni wasn't totally expecting Silver to actually come back, so he thought he'd enjoy a cigarette in his alone time. Upon seeing Silver, he immediately stubs it out. He scavenged for food...? Silver knows what's edible outdoors?] Impressive.

[The smoke lingers and he can't help but try and wave it away from his face, but the gesture is short lived and that was praise.]

It's nothing special. [There is a frog thing on his shoulder now. Someone finally opened up his Pokéball.]

It may as well be a feast. [If this Silver can cook Giovanni isn't even sure what he'll do I mean what the what.]

I was busy starting a fire and finding a large enough rock for sneasel to slice open and make a pan/oven out of

[Yes. Good ones. In a timely manner. While Sneasel slices rocks.]

Who taught you how to cook?

[feistytrader]

I taught myself. [Big sis and his Sneasel friends helped, but he doesn't want to bring big sis up to some weird other Giovanni...] Raw eggs are pretty hard to digest, you know.
