MINGLE! ...and an intro, I guess.
[Sorry, Island, were you hoping that today would be nice and quiet, too? Unfortunately, those hopes are about to be dashed by a loud CRASH.
In some part of that gigantic park (it has plenty of room to spare for few dozen new buildings, right?) the CMA turned into, a big ol' CASTLE type thing with a weird design just got slapped down with no warning whatsoever. It's not just any weird castle, but a weird castle with a GLASS DOME surrounding it and a flowery HEDGE MAZE situated out front! It's like someone took a grass type gym and made it into a place for ancient royalty to live or something.
The front gates were apparently flung open when the building arrived, and now there's a very obvious crack going through the glass, but it seems to all be in one piece. Maybe you should head on in to explore (and inevitably get lost in the surprisingly tricky hedges for a friend or new acquaintance to find)?
...Two of the castle's unfortunate occupants (a boy with some amazing headgear and a Leafeon) will be skittering around the perimeter, looking understandably confused by the place's new surroundings. If you don't feel like waiting for someone to bother you, you could bother them instead?]

It's not Gastly's fault his trainer is also lost here, though. They're just looking for a way out... or further in. ]

So have a surprised, blind swipe in your direction before Pansage skitters back down in a hurry to jump and land on its trainer's confused head. He makes a small noise of surprise, if Morty's still paying enough attention to notice.]
no subject
Is there somebody there? I'm sorry for scaring your Pokemon!
no subject
Don't mind Cecilia and her Ponyta just... well, actually, getting lost in the hedge maze.]
Y'know Ninten, it'd be better if Boko could fly. Then he'd find the way out.
no subject
C'mon Snivy, put your back into it!
no subject
[Cecilia turned, and her expression turned to... anger? Yeah, you look just like the Cheren of her world, and he's currently part of Team Plasma.]
What are you doing to that Snivy?!
[Her Ponyta is also shouting! It doesn't look stolen, Cecilia.]
...It doesn't?
[No. It looks too calm. Remember, this is a place between time and space. Perhaps this is different...]
Still, you! What are you doing?
no subject
Hey look, we don't want any trouble.
We're just trying to get out of this maze. My other friend is missing also, so we thought it'd be best to just whack through instead of wasting time.
[Snivy's just confused, focusing again on the bushy wall, only with more fervor. If they are in a tricky situation, it be best to leave, him anywho.]
no subject
[Cecilia asked, tilting her head. Come to think of it, Burgh hadn't been around recently.]
How about we just burn the maze, then? Friends are important.
[What.]
no subject
[It is...perhaps that kind of thinking isn't a bad idea...it kinda
reminds "Cheren" of a certain time when it was necessary to to be
like that...and of a certain someone.
Yes. ]
...You're right, they are!
[Never mind whoever built the maze will be broken hearted, which was his original
thinking.]
no subject
[And the Reshiram-Ponyta just... does, with a sigh.]
Anyhow, I'm Cecilia Chrome, and this is Ninten - one of my friends. Sorry for how Ninten acted - you look like a bad guy from back home. Uh, what's your name?
no subject
How could ya not tell me they we're going to burn it down?!! You almost got me killed y-you imbecile!!!
Really, you don't say?
I'm...Giruja. And this is Snivy.
You almost got me killed y-you imbecile!!!
[Looks down at Snivy with a half grin.]
You're not a baby. I don't need to always tell you what to do...or you like it, huh?
no subject
I'd never kill another Pokemon! I mean, sure. Garland killed a Pansage. And Ninten nearly killed Skolps.
But I'd never do it intentionally! I mean, if I'm gonna be a Frontier Brain one day, I've gotta not follow the challenge, right?
[Yeah, now she's just talking to the Snivy.]
Uh, I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?
[...Oh, right.]
Nice to meet you, Giruja! Who's your missing friend?
Whoops, repeated dialogue. Forgot to cut that first part, sorry.
Hm? [Realizing she is addressing Snivy.]
[Snivy's hesitant. But since he's been with Giruja, being treated with manners was a rare occurrence. He stops hitting and gives a curt nod.]
Hmph, I suppo--wait, you understand me?
[Retreating back to bushes, oh wait that's just been burned. He's tense, little fists balled up again.]

Gotta love castles, hah~
no subject
...Whitlea?

Hello there!
[With his long, red dress shirt, black slacks and assortment of baroque and Victorian jewels, Edmond doesn't look too twenty-first century himself.]
no subject
no subject
Are you new here?
no subject
no subject
Ah... why won't you talk?
no subject
Ah, I don't... [...pause.
He's... kind of got an accent going here.It seems like he's looking for the right words to say, before finally, he just bows his head apologetically.] I'm sorry.no subject
O-oh! S-so... you don't speak my language?!
[After he's collected himself, he smiles again. Placing a hand on his chest, he speaks very slowly.]
I am Edmond.
[He then points at the newcomer.]
What is your name?
no subject
I am Haruhiko. [...and he'll imitate that pointing by gesturing towards his leafy pal!] Leafia... Leafeon, is his name.
[It nods its head again.]
no subject
Can I ask... what is inside that building? It looks like... an ancient castle, except it also looks like a sort of... greenhouse, perhaps? What is it?
[He points to the castle curiously.]
no subject
Aoba Castle. [Pause.] It has people and Pokemon in it... it is one of my castles.
[Though there were an awful lot less people and Pokemon in it than usual when he was running out to see what all the noise was about!]
no subject
[Edmond's eyes widen in recognition.]
So you are a nobleman? Like me? I am a Count, myself.
no subject
Uh.]
I am a Bushou. [Err... he's not sure what the equivalent of that would be. He lays a hand on Leafeon's head for a moment. It stretches up to accommodate this.] We fight along with our Partners, and we take castles.
[
Sounds like he's used to saying the word "partner", at least.]no subject
Of course! A "Bushou" is... a general! ... No, better yet, a warlord! Is that what you are?
no subject
Yep! That sounds about right! Nod nod. Haruhiko smiles again. He was a bit worried for a second, there, but it seems like communication won't be a huge issue.
...though he's still not sure why his castle is suddenly stuck in the middle of a foreign(?) country!]no subject
My ancestors used to be warriors, too. They would fight to keep the people of Hoenn safe. What about you? Where are you from?
no subject
It's probably cheating to have her Bisharp acting as a living machete, but Mako can live with that.
no subject
Where did he go?
Alright to thread?
Of course :D
...Hey you, by the flowers!
no subject
...Yes?
no subject
Have you seen a Purrloin 'round here?
no subject
Both the cat and the guy will receive a confused look from both him and his leafy buddy.]
no subject
Giruja will be running over to save you.]
Purrloin, stop that!!
no subject
...as this guy with glasses seems to know the Purrloin, he'll hold it out to the boy.]
no subject
The Trainer and the cat appear to be engaged in bickering. It isn't one sided, with Purrloin hissing back in responses. He hasn't forgotten about you, looking overhead to apologize.]
I'm real sorry 'bout this--Oh really? Huh, you wouldn't.
