[Just as it says! Happy holidays, whatever it is you celebrate, because here on the island there seems to be a tradition forming. Or long standing. In any case, as the snow's slowed to a nice amount perfect for any wintry activity, there seems to be a higher number of Ice type Pokémon roaming around.

But most importantly?

There's a lot of Delibird around. You know, that pretty rareish Santabird from Johto. They're waddling along, holding their tails as they drag the "bags" atop the snow, and are leaving presents around the areas where most of the activity goes on. And delivering them too.

The catch? Well, not all of them are real presents. A lot of them are things your character might've been needing, or maybe it's not, sometimes they're just berries or other ordinary items, there's food and the like for Pokémon... and the occasional Ice-type attack every now and then if they're feeling particularly tricky. Right from the bag.

Delibird's Present is definitely not to be missed! Try your luck!]

[Blue's never gotten a gift before...! She's standing in a bunch of them actually, not sure what to do.

If she opened them, wouldn't it be like taking gifts that aren't hers.........

Oh well, too late to think. Abra's already opening one, much to his trainer's dismay.]

[Isn't there an old Johto saying about looking a gift Delibird in the mouth? Archer isn't in the mood for accepting presents from some overeager Pokemon, but the thing threw one in his hands and ran off before he could do anything about it.

Maybe he'll just drop it off somewhere else with the leftover bag of extra presents, just in case one of them feel like exploding in his face. Or maybe he can give them to someone else and let the present do the work for him...]

[hotboss]

[There is a Delibird following him and he is trying to make a sneaky getaway someone get this bird away from him.]

[That isn't just a Delibird that's following Giovanni anymore. Silver's not sure why, but Sneasel's eagerly pulling him towards this stranger.]

[hotboss]

[So help him if this bird tries to give him a present he'll-

Oh. He has another visitor.] Silver?

[tinytrader]

Huh? [How did this guy- oh. Oh, maybe he knows one of the other Silvers.

Sneasel, we should just go, why do you want him to meet this guy? He looks kinda scary...]

[hotboss]

[He looks...frightened? Why?] Something on my face?

[tinytrader]

[No sir. He quickly shakes his head, but doesn't say anything.]

[hotboss]

[Okay, dealing with a little Silver. He's done this before. Sorta.]

...How are you? [Yes that is a fine start, he can do this.]

[tinytrader]

[How are you? Is that a question for him?

He considers answering it for maybe half a second before chiming in with his own question.] Who're you?

[hotboss]

[Oh? He bends down to get a better look at Silver; maybe he won't look so imposing if he appears smaller.] I'm Giovanni. Haven't you heard of me?

[tinytrader]

[Sneasel knows this guy! He's sure of it! He definitely knows this guy...

But Silver shakes his head. Giovanni? Should... Should he know that name? Is it important?]

[hotboss]

[So this must be what that other Silver was talking about. His own son raised outside of Rocket headquarters...interesting.] I'm your father. Well, a form of him is the correct way to put it.

[tinytrader]

[...Did he say father? "A form of him"? What does that mean?

That's proof enough for Sneasel, though, and Sneasel very excitedly pulls Silver in Giovanni's direction- he knew it! Let's go say hi to dad--!]

[hotboss]

[Something about a thing that does a thing so that there are several versions of people because of reasons-
