[It's snowing.

That's right, it's snowing. The ground is covered in a nice thick layer of snow. More importantly, there's a nice and neat series of tables with scarves, mittens, ear muffs, and sleds leaning against it. (A few of the tables even serve hot chocolate that inexplicably hasn't gone cold, for those who need to warm up.)

It's the perfect weather for snow activities since the snow isn't too heavy... You know, except for the occasional Cryogonal that falls from the sky. There seem to be quite a few of those.

But don't let that stop you from some of the classics- snow angels, sledding, snowball fights... Tis the season and all.]

You bet! He's the cutest, most amazing Meganium this side of the island! I didn't want him to freeze since he's a Grass-type and all.

But no. Rosa has quite the problem of being sick. Riding on her larger than usual Arcanine really helps, as does shooting down Cryogonal with her Lucario's Aura Sphere, but... She's still in quite the mood. And bundled up.

Why do I have to be sick now? This is no way for... [A princess to be treated, her mind murmurs finishes mockingly, and she shakes her head. Old habits die hard.] This is no way to spend a snow day. And I don't even have any cu-- cu--!!

[Silver studies him more thoroughly, but only discovers two things: Ethan's probably not lying (especially since he's sure no one else would know that man's name), and he's a waste of Silver's time.]

Yup. His name's Sprouty. I remember when he was just a lil Chikorita... Always wanting me to carry him since he didn't like walking. And now he's happy to run through the snow.

[Bless your sense, Sprouty. Bulbasaur gratefully pulls the scarf all around his body and shuffles closer to the fellow grass type.]

I couldn't reach the scarves for Bulbasaur, and I thought it'd be a lot colder in his Pokéball since it's made of metal and stuff. That's why he's out with me!

You're not dressed at all yourself! I bet he's worried about you even if he's still freezing his bulb off. [Angel's done, she'll stand carefully to admire her work!

You're smart though! It'd definitely be worse in the ball, and when they're out like this they can just run around and stuff.

Bulbasaur and I aren't that good of friends, so I don't think he's really that worried. [...Friends or not, Bulbasaur's still her Pokémon. Her very first, or so he's gathered, and she's his first trainer... He feels her, bro.] Red and a lot of other people've said that as long as I keep being friendly and playing with him though then Bublasaur'll definitely definitely be my friend!

[And he's not scared of her anymore, so! Baby steps.]

Good eye. Ferafera's the strongest Pokémon in all of Johto -- and Kanto to boot. No one can beat us!

Definitely! Sprouty and I weren't that good of friends starting out because he's actually pretty quiet and shy, and now you see he takes better care of me than I do myself. [She giggles and holds out her hand to Blue. Want up?]

Is she a Meganium too? Sprouty's just used to being out of his ball at this point, too, though I still have his as a keepsake.

Yeah. I usually keep her out, but not if it's too cold. [Besides, Professor Elm wanted him to walk with all of his Pokémon and. You know.
