Oh. Just a bubbling stew. Actually, that's not all there is; there's an entire table of food laid out. Food from every region is represented -- no dish is left out!!

So why not take a seat at one of the many tables spread on the sand and have a bite? Maybe talk and make a friend... I mean, there's even Poképuffs for your Pokémon to partake in!

Oh, and don't get scared by the Gyarados watching the festivities. She's really nice.


The culprit of this is a young woman named Sam; she's getting her Sableye to lay out plates of food as she makes them, while her poor Ekans wiggles around trying to be helpful. Her Magcargo's the one keeping things warm, so be careful!]

Of course I am, and of course it is! I made it, after all. [She glances back at Alexis, then to her Audino.] ... Are the Poképuffs light and fluffy?

[The Audino takes a bite before nodding happily and finishing it off.]

It was really nice of you to set all this up. I don't think I've ever seen this much food before!

I don't think I've ever cooked this much food before. [But she was thinking about her circumstances and this island, so inevitably she'd cook.] I'm almost finished with my going-to-be-famous-one-day Farfetch'd Leek Soup, if you've still got room.

[And she hasn't seen, like five-sixths of it before! Blue's mooning over the table, on her tip toes because she's still kind of small. And there's even some of those Poképuff things she's seen in pictures...

[ Hovers over tiny!Blue (because that's totally not creepy at all) to get the chocolate poképuff she seemed to be trying to get and offers it for her. ]

[Oh! It's bigger her! Blue takes it gratefully.]

Uh huh! Thank you! [Okay, um... Let's see... Okay! She lets out someone new: a cute little Meowth.] Here you go, Nuzzler!

[Mrrreee~ow! The Meowth munches the puff out of her hands happily.]

I saw in a book that this makes them friendlier, and Nuzzler's really mean to Bulbasaur so I thought I'd try and see if it'd make him nicer!

[ Crouches down to see the Meowth up close. Hello, I have one of you back at home! ..Well, used to. Now he's a Persian. But anyway. What is this? A puff that can make your pokémon friendlier? ]

Uh huh! I mean, these puff things look like the same ones from the book...

[Blue pets Nuzzler with a smile. He's at least affectionate towards her.]

It's like giving people treats when they've done something good so they'll keep doing that good thing and not a bad thing!



[okay that was a little weird to say but she gets her point across, right.]

I didn't save it, since I don't have anywhere to put it and it's reaaallly big and reaaally heavy, but it was um... A manual, I think someone said! For a Holo Caster, or something.

[ Manual? Seems like a new thing she's never heard of. She's so used to Green telling her everything going on down there that she doesn't bother to find something out herself once she's not with him.

Anyway, she takes one of the frosted pink puff and offers it to Meowth while pondering what tiny Blue said earlier about giving others treats. ...Can this work on people too or..? (no Blue no) ]

[The Meowth takes it happily -- he loves food no matter who it comes from. Munch munch munch -- another happy meowsigh.

Blue watches bigger Blue, then reaches for another puff. Orange one! Or...ange... She's got it!!

(Because it was closer to the edge.)

Her Meowth accepts that one, too, even though it's in slower bites.]

[ Takes out Puffy the Spritzee and Igglybuff to join Nuzzler in this food fest. She lets them each have the green and pink one, which they happily munching. Spritzee seems to be better at handling her scent, while Igglybuff is having a trouble walking on a straight line...

Blue, meanwhile, takes a Lava Cookie for herself and shares it with her tiny version. ]

Yes! Thank you! [She'll take it when given it, sniffing the cookie before she bites into it. She's never had anything so tasty before...

Nuzzler, being a cool and creative cat, lets out Bulbasaur -- who fetches them both some Poképuffs. Two green ones.]

Do you like sweets, big me?

[ ...'Big me'... That's a really weird term. Blue does notice the resemblance of some people with each other and she's putting the dots, but to think there's a "big" and "little" version? Wow.

She nods then motions to Bulbasaur while munching the cookie, still keeping an eye on her pokemon. ]

How's your training?

[Hmmmm.]

Well, we really really haven't been doing any kind of battle training... Bulbasaur's too scared to face other Pokémon really easily, and he likes to hide instead of fighting. I think that's okay though, especially since he's much, much better with people now!

[championleaves]

[ Hmm ]

Try training with dummy opponent.

A dummy opponent? Like, like... A dolly?

Good for training. Won't be scary for Bulbasaur too.
