Welcome/Welcome back, you crazy diamonds!
[An island! This is most certainly not where everyone was just a few moments ago. ...Alright, maybe some of you were on an island. Don't get cheeky.
At everyone's feet is a small note. It gives no description of their location or explanation, of course; it only says one simple thing.
Please choose one.
The note comes along with three Pokéballs with different "starter" Pokémon in them- the three Pokémon can be anything, from a Froakie, Charmander, and Treecko to a Rattata, Patrat, and Bidoof if you're particularly unlucky- and everything in between. If it's not a legendary Pokémon, it's fair game.
Of course, you can only pick one! Trying to go for a second will leave you thinking that you better not get too greedy. If you're one of those types that wouldn't care either way, the other two Pokéballs will simply disappear.
Now go forth, and into a world of Pokémon!]

Hopefully, you won't disappoint me. I mean if your going to talk a big game, you have to back it up.

You won't have to worry about that one bit! ♥ [Heee.] So! What about you, huh? Did you choose anyone?
no subject
...I'm not exactly too sure what I choose though.

It's so small... I've never seen it before either. But judging by the way Sprouty's not shying away from it, it's at least something like a Grass-type, right?
[Sprouty can confirm this, yes. Not lethal to him. Most excellent. Wonder which eyes are the real ones...]
no subject
I...Yeah Grass would make sense. But Grass types don't normally float. { He'd tilt his head a bit to the side as he shrugged.} It'll be fun to figure out.
no subject
... It could be part Flying, or part Psychic, or maybe part Ghost...]
At least I can agree that it'll be fun to figure out, anyway, even if I don't agree with what you chose. [She's not too sour about it.] Oh, little pumpkin thing, tell us your secrets!
no subject
{ Pumpkaboo will resent being called a missed chance, and exploit that secret remark as a way to get revenge. The small Ghost will fly over and use trick-or-treat, and drop a small piece of candy into your hand. Though the issue is while it might look super sweet and tasty...it's actually quite sour.}
...It also does that.
no subject
[Oh boy, candy!
... She actually loves sour foods especially, but it's such a shock from the look of "sweet" to "it tastes super sour" that she has to gasp.]
Wow! It looks super sweet, but it's the total opposite! Hey, hey, can you make more sour candies for me? A Pokémon that can make candy is so much cooler than a lion cub!
no subject
{ Pumpkaboo is mildly disappointed that it's trick was so well received.
Also that it can't turn you into a Ghost-type....But at the end it will accept the cool comment and give you some more candy.}...I don't really get why it likes to do this so much.
no subject
It's just a giving Pokémon, I guess! You were trying to get me back for that comment I said, right? I'm sorry.

Well, if it's tricky, then it's either Dark or Ghost, right? And not many Dark-types float, so... You're so weird, I've never seen a Pokémon with your kind of typing before! [She's so happy you can even hear the ♥ in her voice!!] It's too bad I'm not really into that professory research stuff or this'd be like, way more interesting.
[It was cool, but still not her style. Not unless it pertained to archaeology. Ah yes. Lyra's at least excited because Grass type though. Pumpkin thing. Yes.]
no subject
I don't really know much about Dark-types. We don't have too many around Kanto...but yeah most of the Ghost-types do float. { !!! Oh thanks, he hadn't thought of that before.} Professory stuff...Maybe Green will know more about it. I'll have to find him and ask.

When you're good and strong, Pumpky, let's have a battle with you and Fishy. [Yes she's giving the Pumpkaboo a nickname. No shame!! Just candy, yum. And to the other trainer:] Is that okay? I think it'd be good to see how they're growing by battling with just them!

[She'd just prefer to win, naturally.]
no subject
{ Same here, winning is the best.}

[Honestly, it just makes Sprouty tired. He does appreciate Lyra's enthusiasm, of course, but... He has a Quiet nature. He appreciates the quiet. A lot. Look at his tired face.]

{ I will save you plant bro. Somehow.}
