[An island! This is most certainly not where everyone was just a few moments ago. ...Alright, maybe some of you were on an island. Don't get cheeky.

At everyone's feet is a small note. It gives no description of their location or explanation, of course; it only says one simple thing.

Please choose one.

The note comes along with three Pokéballs with different "starter" Pokémon in them- the three Pokémon can be anything, from a Froakie, Charmander, and Treecko to a Rattata, Patrat, and Bidoof if you're particularly unlucky- and everything in between. If it's not a legendary Pokémon, it's fair game.

Of course, you can only pick one! Trying to go for a second will leave you thinking that you better not get too greedy. If you're one of those types that wouldn't care either way, the other two Pokéballs will simply disappear.

Now go forth, and into a world of Pokémon!]

Hey I'm game! It's not like I've got anything better to do now that we're stuck here.

[He's grinning while lifting his Azurill up and into his arms.]

Maybe we'll run into more new Pokémon along the way!

Maybe! Which direction should we start in then, hmm...

[As an afterthought: Ah, I should probably let out the rest of my team, they'd appreciate the fresh air...

I saw we head straight!

[He's stepping on a convenient stone while dramatically pointing forward. Jiro glances over followed by a grin.]

...heh, that's plenty nice of ya.

[That gets a shrug. It's pretty normal for her, but who knows how it is for anyone else.

... So, Jiro, enjoy the sudden crowd consisting of a Typhlosion, a Togetic, a Hitmontop, an Umbreon, a Dragonite, and an oddly colored (read: shiny) Raichu.]

[Jiro seems to have no problems with the sudden crowding of Pokémon. They make good company. He'd let his own out but, some habits were harder to kill. He'll just keep Azurill out for the time-being.]

Now that we're all set, let's get a move on!

[Fist pump! He's already heading forward while Azurill happily trills.]

Right! [She'll gladly follow with her small entourage (although the Togetic is more interested in the Larvesta).]

[Azurill happily moves onto Jiro's shoulder while he observes their surroundings. He doesn't say, but he mostly kept his eyes out for any lurking trainers.

But he does grin at the sight of unfamiliar Pokémon.]

Hey look at that. I don't think I've seen that bird in Johto before.

[He's gesturing to a flock of Pidoves flying by.]
