At everyone's feet is a small note. It gives no description of their location or explanation, of course; it only says one simple thing.

Please choose one.

The note comes along with three Pokéballs with different "starter" Pokémon in them- the three Pokémon can be anything, from a Froakie, Charmander, and Treecko to a Rattata, Patrat, and Bidoof if you're particularly unlucky- and everything in between. If it's not a legendary Pokémon, it's fair game.

Of course, you can only pick one! Trying to go for a second will leave you thinking that you better not get too greedy. If you're one of those types that wouldn't care either way, the other two Pokéballs will simply disappear.

Now go forth, and into a world of Pokémon!]

Okay, well, bag's sorted and Pokémon (Bladebi?) found. She could hop back over to Wigbi... But she's going to see if she can touch the sheath part of the Mystery Pokémon instead.] You'd probably hurt yourself trying to wield it anyway.

Aww come on, I could totally wield a sword! I could be like one of those heroic knights from the stories!

[Jun moves an imaginary sword through the air as a demonstration as he says this. The sword Pokemon's one eye may or may not be rolling a little, as if scoffing at his amateur movement in the air.

Otherwise though, it doesn't seem to mind if Dawn tries to touch the sheath part of it instead.]

More like a knight's squire. I'll wield the sword and you can carry my stuff. [Because obviously she's the more knightly of them. Or capable.]

I am perfectly capable of being like a knight and not just the guy who carries stuff--come on, back me up on this Torterra.

[He's talking down to his Torterra that they are sitting on. It makes a noise that seems to sound like agreement? Jun certainly takes it that way.] See, Torterra agrees with me!

[Ha! She calls over to her own for support. The Torterra's just kind of chilling as he leisurely walks, yeah.]

Do you think so too, Wigbi? [Uh... Grunt??] Or do you think I could be a better knight than him?

[... Yeah?? Maybe?? He gives a sound that's like, agreement but not sure. Dawn seemed pretty happy just being a messenger, after all. Why would she want to be a knight?]

Guess he agrees with you too, Jun. You probably are more suited to it. Since I'm not that much of a battler and all.

Maybe...or we could also be knights that are a bad-guy fighting duo, too!

I know I can. I hope it doesn't come to that, though. This place seems nice... [And nice things don't tend to last, but you know.] Nicer than the last, anyway.

...Yeah, definitely. That lab place had some cool stuff and all, but it had that jerk...AI or something that was running the place? [You know, the Arceus AI that wanted to test on them and stuff.]

[Yeah, she knows. The AI'd kind of reminded her of a child, actually, but she wasn't any less harsh on him...]

It... He wasn't too bad, actually. Just ran the place and all. Without the AI, I doubt anyone could've survived a week. [Made sure they were fed, always had a way out even if it might be a tough way, a lot to explore and keep them from going crazy in boredom...] Kinda like a kid too. He didn't realize that sorry couldn't excuse everything and wanted to do more research on different emotions and stuff.

So it might have been more like an immature brat or something? [huh] I guess that's one way to look at it.

Right. I mean, it doesn't excuse the fact the AI forged our signatures and all that, but. [Shrug.

She stands, brushing off her skirt and picking up Buckbi before leaping back onto Wigbi. Safety.] At least we got to do some cool things there. Like meet those foreign Pokémon and all.

Yeah, that's true! I was able to catch an Emolga, and you were able to catch..."Fuzzbi", right? [Yep, that was it's name, he's sure of it.] And here they let us meet even more foreign Pokemon--these places sure like to give away free Pokemon, don't they?
