If you happen to be walking around lake WTF today you might hear the sounds of reveling! For today is Gold and Hue's birthday, and although it's the first one who organised this party, more people means more fun! Except Gold's curse of Cosplay Birthdays (TM) has hit again.

 

Which is why, today, Gold is wearing a delightful sailor outfit, complete with the hairdo (his hair just magically grew). This has somewhat saved him from dying of embarassment, and he is testing the way it moves like an idiot. Thankfully(?) he has a matching gentleman close to him. And a cute little daughter sidekick to share the sailor honour.

 

You can come and make fun of them. The catch, of course, is that the moment you enter the party, you too will be a magical girl! (Or if you're lucky, someone who has a link to magical girls) But come on. Who would pass on the delicious cake and pizza and ice cream waiting for you?]

[H-he might stumble, though he tries not to. He doesn't want to burden you and he needs to overcome all challenges, Bashe! Though he stops, a little wobbly to look at you when you ask him something.]

[He motions for Hue to sit down again (ifyouwantto) and starts shuffling through his bag.

...wow, even his bag was re-designed. Oh, well, the contents are still the same. It doesn't take him long to find what he's looking for, though he ends up fidgeting with it still in the bag for a moment.]

[It's a smallish box wrapped up in purple and black stripes! The ribbon tying it is also holding a Pokeball in place on top of said box.]

[Yeah he...doesn't mind sitting and waiting. But then the colors of the box! And a pokeball! HYPE... Grrraabbby hands.]

[He hands it over, a bit shyly. The colors are just Bashe's taste and have nothing to do with the contents. Which would be a dark blue shirt that's close fitting but thin enough to not be too hot for the weather. AKA kinda like the stuff Bashe tends to wear. Under it, there's a short picture book with labels saying it's for both Pokemon and people to read.

The luxury ball, meanwhile... well. Hope you like bugs, Hue, because Bashe apparently decided to replace the one he got from you in that trade before.

As this may be the first time he's gotten you anything without his mother's advice, he is just going to wordlessly watch and wait to see if you don't hate it all.]

[He didn't know if Hue had already gotten enough new clothes for staying here long-term, and he was hoping that Liepard might maybe read the book... as for the luxury ball, he just tends to use those when he has the money for them. Or when they're free, like here on the Island.

[He's absorbing the nostalgic book for just a little while longer. He IS happy, his smile simply grows even though his eyes are warm and soft. And he is wordless too fdkjfh. ]

I think Liepard would like this a lot. Zorua too. Makes me think of the older days with the other Purrloin.

[O-oh, good, Hue looks happy enough. Bashe nods. He's not so sure about Zorua (let's just say it never really shared his tastes), but maybe Liepard can have fun with it.]

I think it's from Sinnoh, so I was hoping you hadn't read it yet... [This place has books from all over, man. It's kind of awesome.]

....actually, he'll just sit down next to his not!big bro and start tidying up the other things (not that there's really anything left to do...) so he can pretend to be distracted.

Inside the ball is a... Vespiquen. A rather high-leveled one, at that. Apparently, today's gifts have a Sinnoh theme.]

[Whoa. He wasn't expecting this kind of pokemon at all. He's really curious but not sure how to approach either. A bug type... but you're giving this bug to him, it flies... so maybe it's bug/flying then. It looks feminine too... a little hefty but also fast... ]

[Strong and/or feminine Pokemon tend to be what Bashe associates with Hue, so it doesn't seem like a huge stretch in his mind. The bug herself apparently had everything explained to her in advance, so she looks more curious than anything else. If Hue isn't sure how to approach, she'll beat him to it by fluttering over to get up in his face for a better look.]

[Oh cool you're not as strange as he expected. He's still unused to 'trades' so to say so he was kind of awkward and lost. As soon as he's approached he smiles. He's looking strraiiight into those cool eyes.]

The bee seems to take that as a good sign, for whatever reason, so she flutters back a pace looking satisfied. Bashe waves at her a little, and she nods in response.]
