[It's night time at the CMA, and the atmosphere may seem spookier depending on one's taste. Lanterns of different colors can be seen hanging everywhere, predominantly orange and red. There is also a distinct smell of cookies in the air.

Most might not notice this nice little change right away though because of the large amount of ghosts roaming the premises. Humans, Pokemon, Ghost Types, you name it. They will be noticed upon setting foot in the CMA.

Some are local, some followed a certain young man into this world a few days ago. Maybe one of the ghosts is a familiar face. Maybe they want to say hi.

Maybe start following you.

Maybe make faces at you.

A lot of them are harassing. About 60%.

You can grab your best guy/gal/gender defying individual and run for the hills! Your call....Or grab a free cookie from the culprit, who's seated in front of the Pokemon Center sadly.]

[Hilbert's exhausted. It took him a while to set everything up. He did the majority of the work, choosing and purchasing the lanterns, setting them up, painting the table and sign, baking the cookies. And now it's starting to look like a bad idea. He's stopped jumping from the screams he's been hearing all night, sighing instead.

Getting up from his seat, he's followed by several Litwick and a couple Rotom as he adjusts the sign he's painted. It says 'Free Cookies! Courtesy of the Black Family.'

Returning to his table, there are colored plates with every type of cookie imaginable, along with an experiment of Bert's: veggie cookies, one example has carrots and jalapenos poking out. He leans back on his chair, looking up at the night sky, then at the Lampents who hover around the table.]

They were so cooperative earlier haha...oh well..

[This easily makes him regret wandering out at night. He doesn't quite see you yet, but he sees plenty of ghosts around. The sudden chill in the air is incredibly eerie to him too. You know, it being humid a few minutes ago and all. He never seen human ghosts before...and somehow, this makes the pokemon ghosts even creepier. The rate of his heart is slowly picking up... But he can't seem to make himself run the other way, not even forward. He just keeps still and watches everything with his darting eyes. ]

[Maybe he should do something about them running...err..floating about. He's not in the mood for a round up, but then he notices the kid and the terrified expression written all over his face.

It's the norm for children to wander around where he's from. Uncertain the circumstances are the same in this world, he shoos off several Haunters in his way, who follow behind him closely regardless. Hilbert doesn't notice the malicious smiling Pokemon behind him as he attempts to calm the boy.]

[Leaning in closer to grab the kids's shoulders. The Haunters stretch themselves, appearing twice their size.]

[Urgh urgh urgh this guy is pretty freaked out by the ghosts he saw but at least the one he was really scared of seeing didn't show up.
He's reaching your table] How the hell're you just sitting there in the middle of all of those?

[He's pretty surprised, seeing as you are the first person to approach his table without screaming.]

Oh! [Laughing]

I'm surrounded by them all the time.

It's..genetic?

[As he chuckles, what looks like soldier and a Gastly rush through him quickly.]

[If you pay attention closely, you'll notice this one being followed by the ghosts of a white-haired man in a trench coat, who's apparently talking at him with something between a smirk and a sneer.
He's walking ahead with his teeth clenched and trying to either exit the area or figure out what the fuck is up with them]

[ This guy also has a few more ghosts around him than usual - no humans, though, only Pokemon. And he looks pretty excited about it, too, and- heeeey, a familiar face! ]

Remember I said this place is boring? I take that back.

[His clothes are clawed up, but that's okay! He found himself a Meowth that evolved right in front of him, but it's personality upped in cocky in the meanwhile. He's not surprised to see you at night, though, and looks between the old man and you. The old man is kinda familiar...]

Caught a mountain lion. [Eyes drift a little bit. Dude, why are you ringing bells...]

{ Red is oblivious to the ghost trailing him. Why you ask? One there's cool lanterns floating around everywhere. Two there are cookies. Red is going to snag up one of those delicious treats and take a bite.}

It's been a while since we had free food.

You'd almost think the island got bored of pranks and presents. I've been thinking of spicing things up a little.

[He's delighted you stopped by. Hilbert leans a little forward, not taking notice to the Rotoms who imitate him on his sides.]
