Hi guys

All right. This is not the town he fell asleep by. This is definitely not Ecruteak. And this is no where he has seen before. Touya smooths a hand trough his hair, checks that all his pokeballs are still in order, his clothes still the same ones he fell asleep in. Everything else seems to be in order. So what happened? Where was he and how had he gotten there?

Leaning against a near by tree, he swings his pack around and rustles through it, dragging out his Johto map. Where was he? Where where where?

"Well. This is new."

[ooc note: Action is fine too, even if I start in prose. It is just my default style. I'll respond in whatever style you do]

Stoutland gets ready behind them in case she needs to catch them. She's used to her clumsy Trainer...

"It's great to see you too! It's been kinda lonely in Nuvema since you three went your separate ways!" Black in the league, White in the Subway, Cheren in Victory Road, Bianca in the lab... everyone was so busy, she barely got to see them anymore. "And then I showed up here and I haven't seen anyone from home in ages!"

"It hasn't been easy."

He's gotten homesick more than a few times. But this is important to him. A sort of life mission he put on himself. Three entire regions and still nothing but potential leads.

He won't be able to be at ease with the whole event until he finds N again. He has to make him understand that it was not his fault. He was manipulated. And they were friends, regardless of everything.

"You haven't seen Cheren around, lately? Still off training, huh. He needs to take a break."

Advice he hasn't followed himself. Whoops.

"We all do."

"Yes, we ALL do. I can't always leave the Lab to visit, you know! The League people don't like me around when I go by to see you, White is almost imposible to find in all those subway lines, and don't get me started on Mister Training!"

She takes a deep breath. It makes her happy that everyone found their path - it really does. But their meetings were rare... oh how much she misses everyone. And the whole SUDDENLY ISLAND isn't helping at all.

Stoutland licks her hand, trying to comfort her. "Are you alright at least? You don't look like last time I saw you... this place does weird things to people."

"I'm doing okay. Still no sign of N. Johto is stunning though, don't you think-"

League people. League people? It's been years since he did anything with the league. After that whole fiasco with the dragons and saying good bye to Zekrom-

And 'this place'? And what was that about the subway?

He just tilts his head to the side for a moment. Processes. Waits for something to click. When it doesn't happen he decides questions might be in order.

"'This place'?"

"Johto?! You've been traveling? You could've told us, you know! It's so-"

Bianca blinks. Oh. He hasn't realized what happened yet. Wow, and they called her an airhead. Have sympathetic look.

"We aren't in our world anymore, Black. Can't you tell?"

"Well I did notice this wasn't Ecruteak, but I just assumed- Where are we then?"

It's not as if he had not noticed this place was different. It was just- well. He was distracted and he had only just woke up. He would have figured it out on his own eventually.

Probably.

Maybe.

"They call it Awesome Island. It keeps dragging Trainers here from their worlds. There are Pokémon from all regions and very weird effects..."

She gets all fidgety, feeling kinda weird about this Black's confessions. Did he really leave without telling her? Were their paths so different from each other to reach that extreme?

"Ecruteak? That's Johto then? I guess you really are exploring the world..."

"I just called you about this last week, B. I know Cheren is always trying to say you are scattered but I am pretty sure you have a better memory than that."

He looks bemused, trying to process this 'Awesome Island' thing. And he had not even taught Buizel surf yet. Oh! all different regions? Maybe this was where N was? As good a place to search for him as any.

"I had rumors that people saw someone matching N's description at that tower in Ecruteak. And shadows of a great flying Pokemon over the town. It wasn't him, though." It never was. Still. Seeing a Ho-oh would have been amazing too. He even stayed an extra day in hopes of getting a glimpse. No luck, though.

"Remember? I told you White was on her way back to Unova to go and visit Mom and stop by to see you for a while.

Bianca frowns. Black is right, she wouldn't forget something like that! Especially if White would come to visit-

...Back to Unova?

"What are you talking about? White is in Nimbasa, trying to beat every record that ever existed in the Subway! And you SO didn't call me, I would totally remember that!" Be right back, checking her Xtranceiver. "See?"

She show the calls history to her friend, who could maybe note that the date is wrong by a couple of years...

It's a miracle he even notices the date. Honestly. The only reason he does is because it's right there in his face and he can't actually miss it unless he does not look at all. That's weird.

"I think your Xtraceiver is broken." He fishes his out of his pack again and scrolls up to the phone call he made to her, to show back.

"See you have the wrong date and everything. Look." He points to hers, and then to the one on his, three years ahead of it.

"White has been traveling in Johto with me for almost half the year. She caught a bunch of Pokemon. I swear she sent some of them to you and the Professor."

No answer. She's staring at the the date on Black's Xtranceiver. It could be broken, yes, but didn't she just say strange things happen here?

Bianca looks at Black's face.

Then at the date.

Than at his face.

Then at the date.

Repeat a couple of times until she finally speaks in awe. "You're older!"

Yeah. He hasn't quite caught on yet. Sorry Bianca. He watches her blankly while she does her wierd head dance and then his brows draw together.

"That tends to happen as time passes. Yes."

"No, you silly! I mean-" Urrgh, how to explain it. She isn't good at words. Where's Cheren when you need him?

"We appeared here like, from different years! That's why you look different, you're from the FUTURE!"

"What like- Time Travel?"

Well he had been in Johto. He had heard the legends of Celebi. Maybe she was right? She did still look exactly the same as when he left.

"You really think so? Wait. But- am I from the future? Or are you from the past?"

"Err, I guess so?"

Bianca takes a moment to take a closer look at his friend - so different and at the same time the same. At least his personality hasn't changed, and she is grateful for that.

"Dunno how we can even tell - I don't think I've heard of dates around here..."
