YO IT'S A MINGLEVENT POST

[It's been a good couple of weeks full of food and freebies!

But now it's a day full of ash. That's right- a light layer of ash lingers in the air and falls down onto the shores of the island. No, not the protagonist from the anime.

Anyone who investigates will find that the shores are full of Lapras that are very eager to take them to the source of the ashy, smoky air- another, smaller, very rocky island with a great big and active volcano! It's absolutely dominated by fire type Pokémon of all kinds. Charmander! Slugma! Magmar! Torkoal! Numel, Chimchar, Darumaka- they've all taken refuge in this heated paradise.

Of course, up at the top of the mountain isn't just a peaceful giant tub of lava. Oh no.

A pair of strange looking Charizard are duking it out.

Welcome to the island's fiery little cousin.]

[ooc: The mega Charizards fighting belong to characters and aren't catchable but rather there to look cool/notice (but if you look around enough, you should be able to find a charmander or mega stone of your own!) OTHERWISE, MINGLE AHEAD.]

[The black one snarls when it slams into the other Charizard; blue fire dances above its head as it roars, head swinging from side to side.

Then it rights itself, claws at the ready. Your move, bro, or this dragon's going to give you one hell of a Seismic Toss.]

[He'd never really got to study Mount Chimney too closely back home, so this is a golden opportunity to learn about volcanic habitats and fire pokemon.

... Like all iterations of Birchs he's learned his lesson about territorial pokemon by now though, so he's giving the quarreling fire..flying types (???) a wide berth.

Professor Birch can be seen in various places, taking notes on the island and its pokemon. If you give him the impression that you're knowledgeable about fire types (example: owning one) he might even approach you with some questions!

Come say hi?]

[Those Charizard --

she wants them. They're different than the ones she's familiar with - especially the black one - and it's frustrating not being able to get to them. They're fast, furious, and obviously locked in some sort of death match.

So she turns her attention to the other Pokémon populating the volcano island; she's set on capturing them, and woe by anyone who gets in way of Monlee's fearsome punches, or Bonee's on-point False Swipes. Or his Bonemerangs...

Or her Pokéballs -- of all kinds.]

[He was going to look around and see if there were any interesting fire-type Pokemon here, but whoa, those Charizards look awesome.

Jun is distracted by the battle at the moment, watching (from hopefully a safe enough distance) on the back of his own Dragonite where he can get a good view of it. If you spot him, feel free to call out to him or even fly up here with your own Pokemon to join the audience in the sky?]
