Sleepover for the lovely 4AM conversations

[ Need to heal your pokemon? Or maybe just looking for somewhere to stay for the night if you're a newcomer? Well, whatever your purose was to come here, you might not get what you expected.

It seems like the Pokecentre has been hijacked by someone who's thrown pillows and blankets all around with balloons and various snacks laid about. Not to mention, cheesily remixed Pokecentre music is playing in the background. The Nurse seems pretty relaxed at the counter, not a hair out of place and happy to help if you need it.

Why not join in for a sleepover if you've nowhere else to be? There's plenty of places to lie about and socialise, snacks to eat and balloons to pop!

If you were trying to get to sleep, though, you might have a hard time... ]

[ A Togekiss in the corner, fluffing up his feathers is happy to act as a pillow or teddy bear if anyone needs a hug for the night. If you want a cuddlepile this is the place to be tonight. ]

[This boy has a blanket (from the stuffpile earlier) and a pillow (except not really, it's just his Azumarill who is already asleep for the night) set up in a corner.

Right now though, he's looking through the picture books at the magazine stand.]

"The Little Pichu"?

[ Bianca is also at the magazine stand but frowning intensely at it. Her ear twitches at the name of a book (??) and turns to look at the boy. ]

Story time? [ She cocks her head and looks glassily back at the other picture books. Words are hard. Will you read a book for her? ]

[Thinks about that for just a moment before nodding enthusiastically.]

Story time! Hold on a sec, though, I wanna see if they have "The Little Cleffa", too.

[Hands the book he's already holding to the conveniently placed Bianca so he can continue searching.]

[ She holds it happily and nods.

Story time!! And pretty pictures, too. ]

The Little Cleffa?

[There is a large, ominous pillow fort set up over here, full of snacks and picture-heavy magazines. It looks rather warm and cozy (and also slightly more quiet than the outside).

There aren't any NO WATER TYPES signs or anything set out, but you should probably ask before coming in. The boy already occupying doesn't have the most welcoming air about him.]

[ Bianca crawls in and curls up on one side. ]

Bianca's sleepy.

I'm gonna be up for a while, so Bianca can just go ahead and sleep.

Nooo, Bianca wants to stay up with Black!

[ Nuzzling into the pat. ]

But you're sleepy, right?

No! Bianca changed her mind.

[There's a very large man sitting in the corner, watching others go by.]

[... He's not partaking in any snacks, but he won't say no to a conversation.]

[Hopefully he doesn't mind the girl and her newly acquired Flabébé settling in nearby!

... She still has no clue what the little Fairy-type even is (ah, the woes of being a gen 3 protagonist), but it's taken to her well enough.]

[No, he doesn't mind at all. He watches her, making sure it seems happy, but it does and so he offers her the tiniest of smiles.]

[She smiles back.

She's quiet for a little while afterwards, but she turns to him after a bit.] Excuse me, sir? Do you know what this Pokémon is called? It's not native to the Hoenn region, and my Pokédex isn't bringing up any data on it.

It's... a Flabébé. A Fairy-type. They're very gentle...

Mister is really big.

[ Sorry, miss blunt here. ]

[He blinks in surprise, and crouches down a bit.]

Yes, I am.

Did Mister drink a lot of milk?

I did. It's important to eat a lot of different kinds of foods to make sure you have enough to grow, too.

[Things he didn't think he would do today: give a health lecture to a child. Oh well.]

[ She suddenly brightens up. ]

Lots of different kinds of foods like the- the red cake, and the spongy ones and the flat ones and the yellow ones that taste like nomel berries? And biscuits and lava cookies and candy bars and- [ DELICIOUS THINGS!! Luxurious, delicious things. ]

Sugar!

You should eat more than sugar. Sugar is good for energy, but it doesn't help your body grow as much.

Those are for Pokemon. Try eating things like apples and cheese and rice and all different kinds of human food.
